Photographs capture the story of our lives. They create visual keepsakes showcasing our loved ones, and what is meaningful to us upon this Earth. My subjects are the author, my lens the illustrator. With a camera in hand I cannot help but to thrive as I capture special moments in their emotion and nature with its wildlife.
What I encourage: If you know of that special something coming up, please do not hesitate to Email Me for my availability. Whatever your occasion or for however you gather, candid photographic journaling is what I specialize in. I am located in the greater Rochester, NY area. If it is special to you, it will become special to me.
For my existing clients, please find your photos inside the category where you would know them to be. It is there you will find your personalized gallery. It has been a privilege and I thank you for gracing my lens.

The Technical:
Prints can be ordered in a variety of dimensions and finishes. If you have that tough to fill frame ~ you should have luck here! For images that arrive ready to display simply choose "Metal" (my fave finish) for the wall, or under the merchandise tab choose "Photo Panel" which comes to you with an easel backing. Once a print option is selected its finish details are described, or click "more info" which opens a separate page further describing the finish. Please know digital downloads for use from your computer are also available, either for a single image or for every image in your gallery.
Some print dimensions require cropping during checkout...in which I have final editing say in effort to provide optimal result. The ordering page consists of tabs to choose product from ~ ranging from prints to gift merchandise to help one to think ahead ~ and be creative ~ for when gift-giving is in order.
My watermark (LaurieDirkx.com) will not show in print, nor will it show when digital downloads are ordered. Thank you!
The Nitty Gritty:
Understandably, all my images are copyright protected and can only be used for personal use via a purchase from this site. Furthermore, Big Brother is watching...it is illegal for you to earn profit from my images and such an act will be remanded by law.
